Monday, 8:47 a.m. You open LinkedIn to follow up with a prospect who went quiet three weeks ago. You hunt for the thread, find it buried under ten other conversations, and you can no longer tell who owed whom a reply. You close the tab.

Your network is not dead. It has just become unreachable.

Here is the pattern I see most often with independents and salespeople. It is not a lack of leads. It is that the leads you already won have evaporated into a thread nobody ever reopens.

1,500 contacts, three follow-ups a week

This is the scale I keep seeing: a LinkedIn network of 800 to 2,000 contacts, somewhere between 50 and 150 open conversations from the last twelve months, and three follow-ups sent last week, two of them at random.

Random is the real cost. You chase the person you remember, not the one who was two steps away from a deal. You forget the quote you sent in June, the contact from that trade show, the person who told you "let's pick this up in September".

And when you try to do it properly, each conversation takes fifteen minutes: find the thread, reread what you promised, check whether they posted since. Multiply by forty. Your morning is gone for three potential meetings.

A network you never follow up with does not disappear. It quietly rots, until the day you reach out again and hear that they already work with someone else.

Scoop: you did not lose that contact. You just let it go cold longer than your competitor did.

Why a classic CRM will not save you

I often hear "I already have HubSpot / Pipedrive / a spreadsheet". Sure. And in all three cases you end up in the same place: a record nobody fills in, because manual data entry is the first thing you abandon after ten days.

A classic CRM gives you a place to store contacts. It never tells you who to contact today, it does not read your LinkedIn history, and it does not send a follow-up. You do the machine's job by hand while the machine sends you the invoice.

It is like tidying your garage for six months without ever parking a car in it. Tidying was never the point.

Relnk starts from the opposite assumption. The data arrives on its own, the score computes on its own, and what is left is the one thing a human does better than an algorithm: deciding what to say to someone.

Step 1: You empty the jar

Relnk starts with something blunt and useful. It pulls your LinkedIn conversations out of their black box.

The Extractor plan automatically extracts your discussions, keeps the full history of every exchange, and gives you a CSV export of everything. Sync runs daily and automatically. Nothing to download, nothing to copy and paste, no extension to install by hand.

Concretely, that is 100 conversations extracted per day. On a history of 1,000 discussions, your past is fully imported in ten days while you get on with other work. The first thing it does is break your dependence on LinkedIn search, the thing that makes you lose a thread because the page reloaded.

The tip: run the extraction in the evening and read nothing before the next day. On day one you will want to open everything. That is not day one's job, it is next week's.

Step 2: You switch on the thermometer

Once the conversations live in one place, Relnk sorts them. Every contact gets a heat score in four states: Cold, Lukewarm, Hot, In negotiation.

This is the mechanics of a sales pipeline, except you never type anything in. The score comes out of the exchange itself: what was said, what was promised, how fresh the thread is. LinkedIn and email land in the same inbox with the same score.

The most useful part is not the score, it is the "who to follow up with today" queue. Every morning you get the list of people for whom a follow-up makes sense right now, and nobody else.

The tip: work that queue before your personal messages. Fifteen minutes, in the morning, before you reply to anyone. It is the slot that pays for the whole month, and it is the first thing most people sacrifice to their inbox.

Step 3: You validate instead of firing blind

The follow-up triggers in one click, but nothing goes out without you.

Relnk drafts a message from the prospect's profile, your discussion history and their recent posts. You read, you correct, you approve. The product promise fits in four words: nothing goes out behind your back.

That is what separates a follow-up tool from a robot that burns through your address book. A network takes years to build and can be lost in three badly timed automated messages. The machine proposes, you decide, and the conversation keeps your voice.

The tip: reread the first sentence of the draft. That is where the AI gives itself away. One sentence too many, an "I hope you're doing well", and the message becomes the copy-paste everyone spots in two seconds.

Step 4: The guardrails that protect your account

A tool that fires forty messages at 11 p.m. in one burst is a tool that gets your account closed.

The rules are built into the product: a sending window from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., random delays of 4 to 10 minutes between actions, a variable daily volume, and an automatic pause as soon as a prospect replies.

The pause is the most important item on that list. The moment someone answers you, the machine stops on that conversation. No follow-up ruins a conversation that is just getting started. It is blunt, and it is exactly what most automation tools forget.

The tip: never disable the pause, and never try to shrink the delays. A slow tool that runs for months beats a fast tool that costs you your account in three weeks.

Step 5: You turn replies into deals

The conversations that heat up land in a visual pipeline of columns you drag with your mouse. Relnk adds email and phone enrichment on the relevant contacts, so a discussion can move off LinkedIn without losing anything.

That is where the CRM stops being an address book with ambitions. A warm conversation becomes a stage, a stage becomes a date, a date becomes a quote. And in three seconds you can see how many deals are actually moving this week.

The tip: every pipeline column must carry a date. "Let's talk next week" is not a stage, it is a wish.

What it feels like once it is running

The first week you only look. You discover how many conversations were left hanging, and how many people should have been followed up before yesterday.

The second week you install a routine: the "who to follow up with today" queue in the morning, drafts approved before the coffee, the pipeline updated on Friday. Thirty minutes a day, not thirty tabs.

After a month you stop choosing follow-ups at random. You know who is Hot, who is in negotiation, and who has been waiting for a message for too long. Same contact list as before, with a map instead of a drawer.

The change is not technical, it is financial. Before, you invoiced from memory. Now you invoice from what your list actually contains. The two do not produce the same figure at the end of the month.

What Relnk does, and what it does not

What Relnk doesWhat Relnk does not do
Extracts your LinkedIn conversations (100 per day) with full history and CSV exportDoes not hunt strangers: no high-volume cold prospecting
Unifies LinkedIn and email in one inbox with a heat score from Cold to In negotiationDoes not reply for you: no draft leaves without your approval
Prepares personalised follow-ups based on profile, history and recent posts, in one clickDoes not manage your page or publish content for you
Anti-ban guardrails: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. window, 4 to 10 minute delays, variable volume, automatic pauseDoes not run 24/7: sending stops at night, on purpose
Visual deal pipeline plus email and phone enrichmentDoes not replace an enterprise CRM like Salesforce
Delivers the "who to follow up with today" queue each morningPublishes no conversion rates: Relnk shows no result figures

The right-hand column is missing from most product pages. It is here for a simple reason: a tool that ticks every box is lying, either about the price or about the setup time.

Who Relnk is for (and who it is not for)

If you already have a network you are not using, you are the use case. Independent, consultant, salesperson who accumulated 800 contacts over five years and only follows up with three a week. That is exactly why the product exists.

If you are starting from scratch and want to spam 500 strangers by tomorrow morning, this is not your tool. Relnk is built to reactivate what you have, not to fill a CRM with people who have no idea who you are.

Pricing: 24 EUR to look, 49 EUR to act

Two tiers, two uses.

Extractor, 24 EUR per month, no commitment. You look. Automatic extraction of LinkedIn conversations, full history of every discussion, CSV export, daily sync, 100 conversations extracted per day, read-only CRM interface.

You can stop there. The CSV export travels with you, and if you upgrade later, your conversations are already in place. It is the one subscription I am happy to recommend without a preceding sales call.

CRM Complete, 49 EUR per month in private beta (down from 99 EUR). Everything in Extractor, plus automated LinkedIn campaigns, AI for follow-ups, scoring, reply triage, the visual deal pipeline, email and phone enrichment, and one-to-one support.

Two details matter more than the number. The 49 EUR rate is locked for life for the first beta members. And access is reviewed by hand: you request it, a human answers. No three-click self-signup, no card on file waiting for you to forget you subscribed.

That is the price of a lunch and a half per month for a tool that gives you your mornings back. (Prices taken from relnk.fr, October 2026.)

FAQ: Relnk functionality and features

How does Relnk improve my LinkedIn follow-up process?

Relnk automates the extraction of your LinkedIn conversations, scores their heat, and prioritizes who to follow up with each day. This minimizes time spent searching for threads and allows you to focus on meaningful engagements.

What happens if I already use a traditional CRM?

Traditional CRMs often require manual data entry and don't provide follow-up suggestions based on your LinkedIn history. Relnk automates these tasks, making it easier to manage your network without the burden of manual updates.

Can I edit the follow-up messages created by Relnk?

Yes, Relnk drafts follow-up messages based on your discussions and the prospect's profile, but you have the final say. You can read, correct, and approve each message before it is sent.

The last word

Relnk does not promise you more contacts. It gives you back the ones you already have, properly sorted, at the right moment, with a sentence only you could write.

Before you buy anything, get the full picture: the free 45-minute audit walks through your network, your follow-ups and your process, and you leave with a written plan. It is right here: book your free audit.
